Cox & Palmer adds two associates to St. John’s office
Cox & Palmer announced that associates Atanu Haldar and Alexander Jessome have joined the St. John’s office.
According to the firm’s news release, Haldar is pursuing a corporate practice with a specific interest in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial law and corporate law.
He earned his juris doctor from the University of New Brunswick in 2020 after completing a B.Sc. (Hons.) in biology and a B.Sc. in nutrition from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Jessome is building a general legal practice and has an interest in civil litigation and wills and estates law. He graduated from Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law with a J.D. in 2020. Prior to attending law school, he completed a BA in history with a diploma in humanities from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Both started their legal careers in the St. John’s office of Cox & Palmer and completed their articles earlier this year. They were called to the bar in Newfoundland and Labrador on April 16.
