P.E.I. man who used stolen MasterCard jailed

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. —

A P.E.I. man who used a MasterCard that was reported stolen from a vehicle was sentenced recently to 105 days in jail on two charges.

Matthew James Daley, 32, appeared before Judge Jeff Lantz in provincial court in Charlottetown where he was sentenced for using a stolen credit card and breaching his probation.

The court heard that Daley was caught on video using a MasterCard that was reported stolen from a car in Charlottetown.

Daley spent $42.14 with the card and made another attempt that was unsuccessful.

Along with the jail time, Daley will be on probation for 18 months.
